Metabolic Diseases

Interconnected cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CRM) diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide and account for up to 20 million deaths annually (GBD 2015 Mortality and Causes of Death Collaborators. Lancet. 2016;388(10053):1459–544).  By following the science, we are targeting specific pathways to address the interconnected nature of these diseases. Building on our expertise in developing innovative treatments for CRM conditions, our goal is to improve the lives of people living with these diseases, their families and the healthcare system.
