Pulmonary Fibrosis

Pulmonary fibrosis is a lung disease that belongs to a family of diseases known as interstitial lung disease. It is characterized by the build-up of scar tissue in the lungs which makes it harder for the lungs to work properly. The disease worsens over time and leads to symptoms that significantly affect a persons' ability to breathe, perform daily activities and can even be life-threatening.
