The spread of the novel Coronavirus is psychologically challenging for many people. The lack of personal contact to friends and colleagues makes people feel alone. Everyday tasks, taking care of children and their education have to be re-organized. In addition to all of that, people worry about their loved ones. Boehringer Ingelheim’s individual employee consultation offers employees several support options to manage the crisis with strengthened mental health.

Mental Support

The individual employee consultation, a professional support service offered by Boehringer Ingelheim, provides an extensive online support program. Its goal: helping those employees who are worried, feel alone or overwhelmed.

There are, for example two webinars, which are offered multiple times. The first one is aimed at employees who are insecure and afraid that they cannot cope with the current insecurity. The webinar is supposed to provide solutions for them, so that participants can better understand their current condition and mental state.

In the second webinar, executives and managers learn how to best handle employees’ psychological burdens triggered by the corona crisis. How can you recognize alarm signals? What can I do as an executive if I recognize psychological peculiarities? The webinar helps answer these questions.
If someone wants to get individual help, employees can also make use of the individual employee consultation. The online consultation is confidential and are subject to secrecy.
