Harold Heart & Friends
This series of short animations featuring Harold Heart, Dorothy Diabetes, Karl and Klara Kidney and Bernard Brain, aim to raise awareness of the symptoms of cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions in type 2 diabetes, and the increased risk for complication in case of viral infection for people living with them.1 The cardiovascular, renal and metabolic systems are interconnected and dysfunction in one system may lead to dysfunction in the other.2,3 Watch the animations to find out more and speak to your healthcare professional if you think you are at risk of cardio-renal-metabolic conditions.
