Dr. Megan Grether
Dr. Megan Grether

Megan is a molecular geneticist by training with a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  She has more than 20 years of global health science experience, holding a variety of positions in both the public and private sectors.  Megan is a firm believer in the power of partnership to accelerate the development of next generation breakthroughs that will improve the health and well-being of animals now and in the future.

Xiaoping Cui
Xiaoping Cui

Xiaoping received her Veterinarian Medicine degree from Yangzhou University (China) and her PhD degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. With 20 years of extensive scientific research experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, Xiaoping has held a variety of positions, in both China and the US, in Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health R&D. She is passionate about improving the health and well-being of animals and delivering value through scientific innovation.

 

 

Dr. James Allan
Dr. James Allan

Jim is a biologist by background with a PhD in Parasitology from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. He has worked in the animal health industry for over twenty years, much of it in business development, including everything from in-licensing early stage technologies, product and company acquisitions, divestitures and carve-outs.

Dr. Ursula Fauth

Ursula has more than 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has special expertise in product and technology licensing, particularly in contract negotiations.

Dr. Laurent Montange

Laurent has more than 20 years of experience in animal health, where he has held different roles in scientific support, operational and strategic marketing and digital services. He is passionate about enhancing innovation in animal health by implementing long-term partnerships for mutual success.

 

 

Christian Mieschendahl

Christian has more than 20 years of global human and animal health industry experience. He has held roles in regulatory affairs, project and key account management and global business transactions.

What Christian enjoys most is to jointly create a win-win situation out of which a tangible business opportunity can originate.

Hervé poulet
Dr. Hervé Poulet

Hervé has spent more than 25 years in R&D, working on vaccines and biotherapeutics (oncology) in animal health. Starting as head of the virology lab in Rhône-Mérieux, he then held various positions in Merial R&D including Global Head of R&D project leaders and Head of Biodevelopment and Bioresearch (Lyon laboratories), contributing to the development of several vaccines and biotherapeutic products.

 

 

Dr. Eva Lauermann

Dr. Eva Lauermann

Eva is a chemist by training and received her PhD in Pharmacy from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. With several years of experience in academic early research and human pharma production, she is now excited about collaborating with external partners to deliver innovative solutions for improving the health
and well-being of animals.

Dr. Arun Iyer
Dr. Arun Iyer

Arun has a PhD and more than 20 years of R&D experience in virology and vaccine development, having worked at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY and LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. His experience spans emerging viruses of swine, and high consequence viruses like foot-and-mouth disease and CSF. Arun enjoys working in collaboration with partners and thought leaders.

Dr. Anisham Moring
Dr. Anisha Moring

Anisha has extensive negotiation and contract drafting experience with third parties in the public (university and government) and private sectors. Anisha has over 10 years of experience in the animal health industry across species and segments.

 

 

 

Dr. Kate Christmas

Kate has extensive experience in animal health and has held roles in clinical drug development, regulatory affairs and the commercial business. She thoroughly enjoys scientific collaboration and working with external partners to achieve shared goals.

Sally Shao
Sally Shao

Sally received her master’s degree in veterinary medicine from Northeast Agricultural University (China) and her Master of Business Administration from Shenandoah University, VA, USA.
With 14 years of experience in the animal health industry in a variety of roles including R&D, Scientific Affairs, Sales Operations and Marketing, Sally is passionate about bringing innovation to animal and human health by leveraging the integration of science and business through collaboration.

Takeshi Kono
Dr. Takeshi Kono

Takeshi joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 1986, leading target identification, evaluation and screening system development in Molecular Cellular Biology, before joining the Human Pharma Business Development and Licensing team in 2013.
He has been responsible for scouting and evaluation of innovation opportunities in Japan and East Asia and is now also supporting Animal Health BD&L in the region.

 

 

Miwa Toyodo
Miwa Toyoda

Miwa has more than 25 years of experience in the life science industry, building breadth and depth of experience across a variety of roles. These include scouting and evaluation of in-licensing candidates at Ono Pharmaceutical, and managing investments in the biotech and MedTech industry working in venture capital. She received her master’s degree in pharmaceutical science from the University of Tokyo. Miwa is excited to establish successful collaborations, and bring value through Japan/Asia innovation, to solve some of the big challenges in animal health.
