Empowering People, Making a Difference
Boehringer Ingelheim employees look forward to celebrating VTI Day every year. It’s a special event in the cultural calendar when our entire organisation comes together to celebrate our achievements and recognise the impact we have on future generations. This year, we had the privilege of capturing the essence of VTI Day in a special highlights reel video, showcasing the incredible activities that took place in Australia and New Zealand.
In New Zealand, we had the opportunity to give back to the community by building 10 bikes that were donated to Orakei Primary School, situated in a lower socio-economic area of Auckland. These bikes will bring joy and mobility to the children, making a positive impact in their lives. In Australia, our team assembled more than 60 water filtration kits that will be sent to Kyaka II Refugee Camp in the Kyegegwa District of Uganda. This contribution will provide clean drinking water to those in need, promoting health and wellbeing.
VTI Day is a celebration filled with meaningful activities that foster a sense of togetherness and a shared focus on our company's future. It's a day where we reflect on our values and the positive impact we can make in society. This year's theme of "Seize the Now" inspired us to proactively take actions that deliver value through innovation, benefiting patients, animals, our community, and the planet. By embracing this theme, we continue to live our purpose of improving and transforming lives for generations.
