FAQ

Because we want you to find your way about the Boehringer Ingelheim Applicant Tracking system (Taleo) or your Taleo profile we created a list of the most frequently asked questions and their answers. Please check first if they solve your problem. If you still have any questions concerning your application don’t hesitate to contact us.

Q: I am a BI employee; however, I’ve accidentally applied to a position as an external candidate. How can I ensure my application will be considered as internal?

A: Your internal candidate profile is fed directly from your global HR Information System at the time you are hired and is tied to a single sign-on server. By accessing the internal career page via MyBI when logged into a BI computer with your BI User Alias, you will automatically be signed in to your internal candidate profile and able to apply. Note that it is important you log in using your internal profile if you are a BI employee.

Q: I am a BI employee; however, I am receiving an “Access Denied” error when attempting to access my internal profile. How can I go about getting this corrected?

A: There are a couple of reasons this may be occurring. 1) You are accessing a shared company computer and are not logged in with your BI Alias; or 2) There is an error communication between the global HR Information system and applicant tracking system. When this occurs, please reach out to the Talent Acquisition contact in the country you applied to. Click here to select your local contact.

For Austria: please ensure you are in the correct career page – in MyBI you can find different links for internal and external employees.

Q: Do I have to attach my documents to my internal application even though I am a BI employee?

A: Yes. We need your current documents (CV, certificates and cover letter) for each application to ensure it can be considered for the process.
