Pioneering for progress in generalized pustular psoriasis

In April 2024, Boehringer Ingelheim hosted the multistakeholder scientific meeting PIONEERS® Live (Partnering for Innovation and Excellence in Rare Skin Disease).

PIONEERS® Live event attendees grouped together, waving on stage

In collaboration with the PIONEERS® expert steering committee, IFPA and several other patient organizations, a dynamic and interactive program was developed to bring the rare disease generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) to the focus of attendees.

The people making a difference

Hosted at our Boehringer Ingelheim global headquarters, a diverse cross-section of over 170 delegates representing all continents of the world participated in the broad topic agenda on championing excellence in the care of GPP.  The unique dimension of this meeting brought together the perspectives of dermatologists, patients and patient organizations under one roof to network, learn from each other and ultimately improve the lives of people living with GPP.
