COVID-19: Supply Chain and Production

Do you experience supply chain problems in respect of sourced materials? 

• Our supply chain and production continue to operate according to plan and we do not foresee short-term issues for patients due to COVID-19 that we cannot work around. Supplying patients and customers with their medicines is our highest priority all around the world.

• Our experts constantly monitor and assess the global supply chain situation to ensure continued market supply and where possible and needed, we activate alternative options to source from elsewhere in the world – either through third parties or through our own production. Due to a higher demand we increase our capacities even further. 

• There might be some delays due to limited transport capacities, but as we are producing pharmaceutical goods, we are getting special permits for maintaining production and shipment of goods. 

• Due to short term increased demand we expect temporary shortages of few specific products in some markets mainly on wholesaler level and we are handling this with care. We do not foresee problems to supply patients so far. We are working closely with the local authorities to ensure the best possible supply of patients.
