It’s Your Heart. Protect It. Patient Documentary

In this short documentary, join Dan in Canada, Elke in Germany, Isabel in Mexico and Liu in China, as they invite us to share their personal experiences of living with type 2 diabetes and heart disease and what motivates them to protect what matters most – their heart.

People with type 2 diabetes are two to four times more likely to develop heart disease compared with people without diabetes.1 Through this documentary we therefore aim to raise awareness of the link between type 2 diabetes and heart disease in order to encourage people living with type 2 diabetes, and those who care for them, to talk to their doctor about the potential risk to their heart.

If you have type 2 diabetes, or care for someone who does, watch the documentary and download the Patient Discussion Guide to help you start conversations with your healthcare professional about how to protect your heart.
