We, at Boehringer Ingelheim Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance, are leaders in patient safety. We continuously collect and analyze safety data to understand the benefit-risk profile of all Boehringer Ingelheim compounds in order to provide updated information to patients and health care professionals and, consequently, contributing to their safety use from early development through clinical practice.

We are passionate about patient safety, driven by science, and our goal is the wellbeing of our patients worldwide. To achieve this goal, more than 350 health care professionals, including physicians, working at the Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance department based in Ridgefield [USA], Ingelheim [Germany] and over across the globe are collecting and evaluating all Adverse Events and other product safety information reported to Boehringer Ingelheim.
