“You will be a part of a diverse and motivated team, improving life for humans and animals worldwide”
Matthias Muenks Global Engineering Process and Data Manager
Matthias Muenks, Global Engineering Process and Data Manager, speaks about our innovation and culture.
I started my position in 2021, in our biopharmaceutical business unit. I’m an experimental physicist by training, with a background working in the chemical industry. I’m based in Biberach, Germany, one of our global scientific hubs.
Beautiful environment charming people
Biberach and its surrounding area are beautiful, full of nature and charming people. As a company, a team, we are all dedicated to contributing to, and collaborating on, one goal: making life better for millions of animals and humans globally. The environment and architecture of our Biberach hub helps us to do that.
Freedom of innovation
The freedom and trust given to us by Boehringer Ingelheim allows us to break new ground; by combining innovative and established workflows from engineering, maintenance, production, and information technology, we can gain expertise in emerging fields. The support I receive from my colleagues is fantastic. I’m now moving into the organization dedicated to new global facilities and engineering. There, I will work on simplifying processes through standardization and harmonization.
Sustainable strategies
This is a family-owned company, which allows us the freedom to focus on long-term, sustainable strategies. This is beneficial in a field that grows more complex, ambitious, and rewarding every day. The enormous research and development investments Boehringer Ingelheim makes have led to solid knowledge domains that are truly making a difference, globally.
Why should you apply for a career here?
Well, Boehringer Ingelheim is not only repeatedly a “Global Top Employer”, but you will be a part of a diverse and motivated team, transforming lives for humans and animals worldwide.
