COVID-19: France - Production of hydro-alcoholic gel
Boehringer Ingelheim's commitment goes beyond the boundaries of the company. It is more than important, as a healthcare company, to ensure the safety of its employees by encouraging “barrier gestures” and providing suitable protective equipment.
At the end of March, Boehringer Ingelheim launched the production of its first bottles of hydro-alcoholic solution at its sites in Toulouse and Lyon. Short-term objective is to produce solutions or gels to help protecting employees against Covid-19 and hence ensure supply continuity for customers. Next objective is to continue production for donations to healthcare institutions.
