Emmanuelle started her professional life in academia, which she loved, but decided to make the move into the pharmaceutical sector when she realised she wanted her research to have a broader impact for patients. Today she develops novel therapies for rare skin condition, but actually started in pulmonary care when she came to Boehringer Ingelheim.
