Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health

We are passionate about animal health. We believe that when animals are healthy, humans are healthier too; therefore we are committed to improving both animal and human health. We provide advanced, preventive animal healthcare – our vaccines, parasiticides and pharmaceuticals protect animals against disease and pain and we develop new and advanced therapies to help manage chronic diseases more effectively, limiting pain and slowing disease progression.

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health was founded in the 1950s, and established a UK presence in 1980, initially focusing on equine respiratory disease. Since that time, we have expanded to become one of the largest veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the UK, and is also one of the fastest growing. In January 2017 Merial Animal Health Ltd became part of the Boehringer Group of Companies.
