How Ding brings hope to stroke patients

BI X colleague Ding Cheng talks about his work on an app that gives patients remote access to stroke rehabilitation.

A data scientist at BI X China, Ding Cheng believes in creativity and adaptability in a rapidly changing world. For him, it is the real-life value that he derives from academic research that can make all the difference in the lives of humans and animals. He currently works on an app that gives patients remote access to stroke rehabilitation via their mobile phones and tablets. With stroke a leading cause of death and disability in Chinese adults and a high unmet need for neurological rehabilitation in the country, the app can support patients and their families on their oftentimes challenging journey ahead.
