Enabling success for a global pharmaceutical company

Around the world, Boehringer Ingelheim has thousands of valued employees who never set foot in a laboratory.

Enabling success for a global pharmaceutical company

We are a manufacturing company as well as a scientific one: we have engineers, maintenance departments, logistics managers, QA/QC teams and everything else that goes with the manufacturing business.

That is a very important word: after all, we are a business. As a global company, we place great value on our commercial functions, from customer-facing sales teams to strategists and analysts to accountants and HR specialists. We work, too, in a highly complex and regulated field, which means that we have careers for regulatory experts and in-house legal teams.

We need to listen to and engage with the external world, this is the task of our Corporate Affairs division who are the experts in all matters concerning Communications, Corporate Brand, Public & Government Affairs.

We also need to communicate with each other, of course, which is why we have an IT division to keep the information flowing freely and efficiently.

All this takes a great deal of organization, dealt with by our administrators. And finally, we need somewhere to do it all – which we have, thanks to our facilities teams.

We have R&D and production facilities in 13 countries, and we understand that every one of the people working in them plays a part in getting our products to the people who need them most: patients all over the world.
