What do Patient Safety physicians do?
At every stage of the drug development process, Patient Safety physicians establish a drug’s benefit/risk profile by assessing its risks and weighing them against its efficacy. By analysing data and working closely with all relevant stakeholders, they plan risk minimisation measures to ensure drugs are as safe as possible and do what they’re supposed to do.
