Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences
Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE), commonly referred to as “pharmacy rotation", allows student pharmacists to gain experience, apply knowledge and skills, and gain professional competence and confidence by delivering contemporary pharmaceutical care and completing other profession-related experiences under the supervision of preceptors.
Boehringer Ingelheim has contractual agreements with select pharmacy schools throughout the United Stated to host PharmD students for rotational opportunities.
This experiential rotation program provides students with hands on experience and networking in the field of pharmacy.
