2021 HBA Rising Star and Luminary Award Winners
The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) is a global nonprofit organization recognizing outstanding individuals and companies who impact and influence women in healthcare. Boehringer Ingelheim has been a long-time sponsor of the HBA awards for more than 12 years with more than 14 BI honorees recognized for their success. For 2021 we are thrilled to announce BI’s HBA Rising Star and HBA Luminary Award winners.
The Luminary Award began in 2014, and is highly recognized in the industry, with 69 women this year identified by their companies and colleagues. HBA Luminaries are professionals with more than 20 years of professional industry experience, serve as a role model and actively mentor others. We are honored to announce Dr. Carine Boustany, SVP, US Development Site Head and Global Head Development Sciences as the 2021 HBA Luminary awardee for BI. Carine embodies the values of the company and is a true example of transformational leadership. Her dedication to the advancement of other women’s careers and relentless passion for the healthcare industry is inspiring.
HBA Rising Stars are professionals in the early stages of their career. The honor recognizes individuals’ remarkable performance, commitment to excellence and valuable contributions to their companies’ success. We are proud to announce Emelyn Maravilla, Director, Asthma and Established Brands Marketing as this year’s HBA Rising Star for her noteworthy achievements that ultimately enrich the careers of many in the organization.
Please join us in congratulating Carine and Emelyn for their success and unwavering passion for healthcare and the patients we serve.
