Management Rotation Program

By joining the Management Rotation Program, I instantly had a cross-functional network and I gained unique experiences that helped me grow. I was exposed to key business leaders and I was fortunate to be involved in highly visible assignments. I appreciated how business leaders took the time to develop and coach me so that I can shine as an MRP participant. During the program, I learned about the uniqueness of each business unit: Human Pharma, Animal Health and Biopharma. I believe that the Management Rotation Program, itself, was a solid development plan to prepare me for the role I am in today. It is amazing to think of my accelerated experience and personal development due to the Management Rotation Program!

The Management Rotation Program has provided me the opportunity to explore the inner workings of the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout the course of my rotations, I have contributed positively to the commercial business–all while developing new skills, working alongside mentors, and gaining exposure to senior leadership. The MRP gives me flexibility to forge my own path and tailor my experiences to reach my career goals.

Our Management Rotation Program (MRP) offers you the ability to learn by doing, have exposure to various departments and gain a better understanding of BI. While on program, MRPs have access to leadership training and a broad network across BI. Rotational assignments which can be 6 to 12 months in length are at our locations within the U.S. with the potential for one international rotation abroad. MRPs complete a minimum of three rotational experiences acting as an internal consultant and project lead. Typical time spent on program is 2 to 2.5 years. MRP is not a general management program, you gain depth in a functional area (Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology or Marketing) while on program. Post program roles are based on background, rotation experience and the MRP’s desired career track. MBA and Master’s students are preferred; those possessing additional degrees (i.e. Ph.D., PharmD) are also encouraged.
