Celebrating Women in Technology: 2022 - A Year in Review

“We want to elevate women in technology: empower them, affirm their potential and enable them to soar to new heights”

Bhawna Paul, Head of IT Customer Facing Excellence IT at Boehringer Ingelheim

According to a report by The World Bank, in the European Union women make up only 17% of the Information and Communication Technology sector.

At Boehringer Ingelheim and specifically in our IT department we continuously work to make sure diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of what we do. Diversity of gender, generation and geography brings diverse thought and perspective to our IT teams.

From 2021 into 2023, our global IT teams have been working tirelessly across the world to champion and advance women in technology, both internally and externally.

Every voice matters, big and small, as we work together to change perspectives and drive progress.
