2024 HBA Luminary from Boehringer Ingelheim recognized for putting patients first

Nicole Forman receives notable award for her commitment to health equity. 

Nicole Forman, senior associate director on our Medical Safety team at Boehringer Ingelheim, is a luminary. She’s a person who inspires others. She’s a role model. She’s a dedicated contributor to the healthcare industry. 

To recognize Nicole’s qualities as a transformative leader and mentor, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) named her as one of their 2024 HBA Luminaries. The award celebrates women with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry who: 

  • Serve as a mentor and sponsor
  • Help grow women’s careers

“Nicole is deeply committed to health equity and making a difference in the communities where we live and work,” said Michele Christ, senior associate director for the Diversity, Inclusion, Culture and Equity team.

She’s successfully completed a health equity rotation at Boehringer helping to ensure underserved populations receive the medicines they need and deserve. Nicole also volunteers her time and expertise with organizations, like the United Way, to do her part to change lives.”

Nicole’s manager, Evgeny Zalmover, also shared: “Nicole is known for her patient-centric mindset. She’

s an avid advocate for including the patient voice in all aspects of risk minimization strategies and evidence based strategic decision-making.”

Evgeny, who is executive director of Medical Safety at Boehringer, added: “In addition, Nicole is continuously taking steps to grow professionally and elevate her leadership skills to the next level.”
