Are you exploring a career with us? Ask your talent advisor about the culture chats we’re offering during the hiring process. The chats are voluntary and give you the opportunity to speak with one of our employees to learn more about who we are and what it’s like working at Boehringer Ingelheim in the United States. Here’s how it works:

The invite.

We’ll invite you to join a culture chat during the interview process for specific business units and if you’ve expressed interest in it at your recruitment screening.

Connection to a potential colleague.

If you're interested, we’ll connect you to one of our business resource groups (BRGs) leads or members. You’ll choose your top two BRGs and we’ll do our best to make sure you speak to one of those team members.

“Sharing my career track and opportunities with a potential colleague can help enhance their experience with Boehringer,” said Harold Martin. the national lead for the African Heritage Business Resource. “It’s also an opportunity to give first-hand insight into our unique culture.”

The candid conversation.

Through a third-party vendor, your talent advisor will set up a 15- to 30-minute meeting for you and the BRG member. This person isn’t involved in the interview process and your conversations don’t influence final hiring decisions.

What to expect

You’ll have an open and honest conversation with a Boehringer employee where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of their career journey and our company’s:

  • Culture
  • Professional development and mentorship opportunities
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Employee engagement

Our goal is for you to get to know the people you’d be working with and what our company stands for as you consider making a change in your career. Above all, we want you to leave the chat with a better sense of what we offer, how we prioritize a culture of belonging, and why others are passionate about working here.

Don’t forget to ask your talent advisor about the culture chats! If this has inspired you to look at opportunities with us, we encourage you to visit our careers page.
