Business Resource Groups at Boehringer Ingelheim

Business Resource Groups are voluntary, employee-driven groups formed around a variety of diversity dimensions. Members of these groups support one another and contribute to culture by sharing experiences, discussing best practices, concerns, networking, professional development and mentoring.

  1. African Heritage - The National African Heritage Business Resource (AHBR) is a voluntary, employee-driven group that is committed to taking a leadership role in incorporating diversity into the company's growth agenda in support of Boehringer Ingelheim's competitive advantage.
  2. Asian - The National Asian Business Resource Group (ABRG) is comprised of dedicated Boehringer Ingelheim employees who volunteer their time to promote awareness and understanding of Asian cultures, perspectives and values at Boehringer Ingelheim and within the local community. 
  3. Combining Abilities for Business Success - CABS (Combining Abilities for Business Success) is a National Business Resource Group (BRG) focused on the diversity of abilities in our workplace and society, while providing a network and a gateway to resources to support caregivers.  
  4. First Nations - The First Nations BRG strives to creatively seek out avenues to put Native American patients & citizens first through understanding the specific needs of each tribal nation and remaining accountable to deliver on all promised actions.
  5. Generation BI - The National Generation BI Business Resource Group leverages generational differences and similarities for professional growth opportunities and inclusion within Boehringer Ingelheim's workplace and marketplace.
  6. Latinx+ - The National Latinx+ Business Resource Group's mission is to support the Company's core mission and values by promoting the recruitment, retention and promotion of a diverse talent pool whose skills, expertise and diverse backgrounds adds to Boehringer Ingelheim’s understanding of the patient from a cultural perspective and drives business results. 
  7. NURSE - The National NURSE BRG assists Boehringer Ingelheim in cultivating an environment that values diversity and the inclusion of all BI employees; to be a resource group to professional nurses within Boehringer Ingelheim; and to advocate for the profession of nursing and educate stakeholders on the value of nurses and how to leverage that value within the business.
  8. Pharmacists Across BI - PhaB will assist Boehringer Ingelheim in cultivating an environment that values diversity and the inclusion of all Boehringer Ingelheim employees; to be a resource group to pharmacists within Boehringer Ingelheim; and to advocate for the profession of pharmacy and educate stakeholders on the value of pharmacists and how to leverage that value within the business.
  9. Veterans - The mission of the National Veterans BRG is to elevate the awareness among the Boehringer Ingelheim organization of the skills, contributions, and value that military veterans contribute to the Company by virtue of the unique skills gained from military service.
  10. Veterinarians @ BI - In the spirit of Accountability, Agility, and Intrapreneurship, our mission is to: Create a diverse and inclusive community for veterinarians and non-veterinarians alike around the profession of veterinary medicine. 
  11. Women’s Leadership Initiative - The National Women's Leadership Initiative is committed and passionate about Connecting talented and engaged Boehringer Ingelheim employees to one another and to new opportunities. Empowering women and men who support women at Boehringer Ingelheim and in our local communities.
