Within one of many two- to three-year BI DISCOVER Programs you will get to know the core areas of various departments at Boehringer Ingelheim. During your time as a trainee, you will be executing different project tasks with an experienced mentor by your side, who will prepare you for possible future (leadership) positions at Boehringer Ingelheim.

The rotations throughout different departments not only give you insights into the organization, but also the chance to build a broad professional network. Your mentor and supervisor will support you and introduce yourself to core persons in the respective area.

To support your personal development and soft skills, you will have the chance to attend several seminars together with your trainee peers. Learn about the company’s culture in the leadership@BI seminar, practice your negotiation skills or learn more about how to deal with changes.
By the way, as employees and trainees are from all over the world, all events in the Trainee Circle take place in English language.
Become part of the Trainee Circle!
As a BI Discover Trainee, you will be onboarded to the Trainee Circle, which comprises ~35 trainees from Ingelheim, Biberach and Vienna. Together, the trainees organize several events such as the Trainee Days (where everyone meets up in person on alternating sites), leadership talks, alumni events, trainee lunches, afterwork activities and much more. The trainee circle organizes itself, so every trainee is encouraged to participate and exchange experiences with other trainees and alumni.
